March Favorites

Happy almost April to you!  I have to say, I have never been so glad for a month to end.  We are in the process of getting ready to move, so this month has been filled with never ending stress and worry.  With that said, everything has been going along smoothly and every bump in the road has worked out.  But still . . . is it over yet?

As stressful as this month has been, it has been filled with wonderful moments.  Here are a few of my favorites!
I sneaked off at the beginning of the month to join up with some sweet friends from all over the country.  It was an amazing weekend!!  Dressing up in a little 80’s action make it even more fun.

Because I’m a total jet setter, my family and I went to New York City at the end of the month.  The jet setter part is a lie, but the weekend was awesome.  My daughter had surgery at Shriners Philadelphia after she was diagnosed with Scoliosis in 2014.  We have to go there for follow ups.  This time we hopped a train, headed to New York (only an hour!!), and turned it into a family weekend.

The only thing better than visiting the Met, eating Shake Shack, walking through Central Park, and seeing Matilda was get an awesome report on her progress!

January of last year, I did the Whole 30.  I’ve tried to keep a lot of the eating habits, and Trader Joe’s has made it so much easier with bags of frozen riced cauliflower.  It’s not that ricing cauliflower is that hard, but this is such a big time saver.

In our continuing effort to eat healthier, we tried a pizza place within bike riding distance of our new house.  Big mistake.  It was awesome.

And this little guy is always one of my favorites.  Murray is my constant companion.  When he hangs with me in the office, he’s either napping or keeping an eye on the neighborhood.

Thanks for keeping us safe from the bad guys!

Hope you had an awesome March.  I’m looking forward to an amazing April!
