Slider Tips and Tricks

Add images to your slider:


Go into the posts you would like shown in your slider and add the label Featured (it does need to be capitalized.)

Slider not working?  If you have a Facebook pop up box, this code can interfere with the slider.  Try removing it.

Image sizing:

**Please know your image can be larger than this.  If the ratio is not the same, part of the image will be cut off, so place text thoughtfully.  If your image is smaller than this, the image will be pixelated.

This slider is a little trickier because it resizes as the page is make wider or narrower.

What does stay consistent is the height of 300 pixels.  The width adjust to the size of the screen.  Add important text to the center of the image as the sides get cutoff as the screen is made more narrow.  A width of at least 475 is good for widescreen computers.

You could also add an image with no text to it for the slider, since the name of the post appears below it.  (See how to hide the slider image from your post here.)
