December Favorites & January Currently

Well, December flew by quickly didn’t it?  I’ve got a twofer for you today.  My December favorites and the January Currently.  So industrious of me.

The Slated series by Teri Terry-love this series! Flew through books 1&2 . . . . only to realize book 3 doesn’t come out until May 1st.  I hate when that happens!

My sister-in-law introduced me to Flip Pix which has replaced my Candy Crush time wasting obsession.  Not sure if I should thank her though.  It’s so addicting.
There are multiple levels and a bunch of puzzles in each app.  There is a free one, so you can try it out.  If you dare.  If you’re aSudoku fan, you'll like this one, too.

My mom got me this beauty for Christmas.  Now I’m obsessed with getting more colored Alex and Ani bracelets.  Which I needed about as much as the Flip Pix obsession.
I got this shirt from my November Stitch Fix but just wore it recently.  Holy Moly.  I love all these cute sleeve shirts, but I like being able to bend my arm more.  Instead of buttoning at the elbow, it have a v, so you can actually move your arm.  It’s my new fave.
Last but not least, this wreath.  I managed to the most tangle skein of yarn in the universe, so it took waaaay longer than it should have.  I love the way it turned out though!  I used my Silhouette to cut the felt.  It didn’t cut all the way through, but it was still a million times better than tracing and cutting.

Oh' Boy 4th Grade is hosting her monthly Currently linky.  Here’s what’s going on with me:
Listening: Our Murray man is turning 1 today.  (He’s a shelter dog, so we got to pick his birthday.)  The party was epic.  There were decorations, games, arts and crafts, food, and party treats.  All the work was done by my two little ladies, and they had a blast.

Loving: Mr. Fancy Pants Business Man has been home with us for quite a bit of the break, and I’m loving having him in the house with us.  He’s been crazy busy lately, so it’s nice just to have him around.

Thinking: My word of the year is Rhythm.  There have been lots of {good} changes in our life during 2013, but I’m still looking for the rhythm of our new normal.

Wanting: Dining room chairs.  I still love our table, but I’m thinking new chairs would liven the place up a bit.  Not sure if I want this enough to actually save up and pay for them.  It’s more of a random thought.  I’ll have to marinate on that one for awhile.

Needing: If any finds my motivation to exercise, please let me know.  It’s been lost for a loooong time.

Tradition: We collect memories from during the year in a memory jar and read them on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.  Love hearing what everyone thought was memorable from the year.
