Five on the Fifth

It's the fifth, which can only mean one thing on this blog.  It's time for . . .

If you're new around here, these posts show off the heart of teaching blogs-the sharing of really great ideas.  Five on the Fifth even has its very own Pinterest board.  You can follow it here.

Everybody is loving on Interactive Notebooks right now and for good reason.  Middle School OCD shared this idea for making pockets.  So genius!

Kids love writing reports, right?  Um, no.  The Teaching Thief shared her windows into history projects.  I want to make one, and I'm a grown up.  So, I'm pretty sure you could trick your kids into a writing a report with this idea.

Parts of speech rank right up there with writing reports with the elementary set.  Joy in the Journey seriously set my heart to pitter patter mode with these.  She has them in color and black and white.  I cannot even describe the depth of my love for these.  Only other language arts teachers would understand it.

Oh Kim.  Where were you when I taught self contained for ten years??  KG Fonts is major.  Not only does she have cute fonts, but I stumbled on this when digging through her massive TPT store.  Did I mention all her fonts are free for personal use?  Like this math bar models.

I felt like I was staring at my own green baskets when I saw this on A Cupcake for the Teacher.  Except Teri's has little plastic cups from Ikea to keep things organized.  Smart, very smart.

Now, if you're in a pinning mood, be kind and pin either from the 5 on the 5th board or directly from these ladies' sites so they can get the credit they deserve!
