Stitch Fix

My first Stitch Fix arrived!  If you're not familiar with Stitch Fix, it's like Birchbox but clothes.  You fill out tons of information about your clothing style.  You rate outfits, put in information about what you like/don't like, what you want clothes for (work, sassy dates, yeah right, casual, etc.)  Lots of info.  Then, once a month they send you a box of goodies.  You get to keep what you want, send back what you don't.  The great thing about it is that they use what you like and don't like to tailor your style selections every month, so they get better and better.  Kind of like Pandora.
My goal for my first Stitch Fix was to like three items and keep two.  I liked three of them, and after trying them on, I kept one.  I desperately wanted the chambray dress, but apparently Stitch Fix did not realize I have extra cush in my tush.  I  kept the navy polka dot shirt.  I really liked the striped sweater, but horizontal stripes are not a curvy gal's friend.

What I really liked is that they paid attention to what I wanted.  One of my comments was that I wanted fake fall clothing. I love fall, but it's still in the 90's here.  My favorite pieces fit that  request.
I also love that they include a styling card for each item.  From their input process to packaging to styling, they've got a good thing going.

Ready to give Stitch Fix a try?  Use my link and help buy me some more cutie pie clothes.  I can't wait to get next month's box!

  1. There is a dress A LOT like the one in the blue at The Limited! If you're looking for an appropriately sized replacement I would check it out! I bought it just before back to school and love it!
