Raise Your Hand If You Need to Go to the Restroom

Sigh.  The bathroom.  The bane of every teacher's existence.  Who's in the bathroom? How long have they been gone?  Is there already another girl in the restroom?  The bathroom remained unconquered for the first 10 years of my teaching career.  I guess I'm a slow learner.  The last three years have been a dream, though!  Thanks to this handy dandy chart that matches my Dots on Turquoise theme.  Of course.  I had it printed on 11x17 card stock at Office Max.  Hey, it's a $1.50 and makes me happy.  Then I made one to match the cutie pie owls I saw my sweet friend across the hall putting up.  So you have options.

I have editable charts in my TPT store.  You can choose your colors, patterns, and text.

Students may go to the restroom anytime they want.  There are only two no gos:
•When I'm teaching
•Partner work

That's it.  Other than that it's a restroom free for all.  I never have to listen to anyone asking me to go to the restroom again.  It's the little things.  Each box is a little larger than an inch.  I have a magnet for each student.  There is only room for one magnet in each box, so the rule is only one boy/girl in the restroom at a time.  Do the kids forget to move their magnet back? Occasionally.  The next kid needing to go to the restroom takes care of that though!
